The Wyoming Center for Nursing and Health Care Partnership (WCNHCP) is working to identify nurses who serve on boards and/or have the desire to serve on boards. We also want to be able to know how to best support Wyoming nurses in board leadership.
This survey is directly related to the Institute of Medicine report on the Future of Nursing and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Nurses on Boards initiative which recognize that nurses need to be more involved in healthcare decision-making. It is critical that nurses, as key members of the healthcare team, make their voices heard and have a greater influence in healthcare planning, policy and management at all levels. Board involvement is one way to increase nursing’s influence in healthcare and the broader community.
Please take a few minutes to let us know about your participation on boards.
